COMING UP AT THE CASTLE THIS SUMMER
We are eagerly looking forward to coming together at the Castle this summer for an enlightening session with John Bell. Hailing from Zimbabwe, John's spiritual journey commenced at the age of 14. Following a stint in law enforcement, he pursued further education in Bible and Theology in the United States, where he crossed paths with his wife Miriam. In 1984, the couple returned to Zimbabwe, where John devoted over a decade to shepherding the congregation in Bindura. Subsequently, he led the Central Baptist Church in Harare for two decades before embarking on a new chapter by joining the pastoral team at Covenanters in 2018. Together with Miriam, John cherishes their expanding family - comprising their biological and foster children, as well as their grandchildren. Beyond his pastoral duties, John finds joy in imparting knowledge through teaching and preaching, alongside indulging in his passions for gardening and playing squash.
@ the Castle is an evangelical initiative in Ireland to expose young adults to good Bible teaching. The driving ethos behind all the “@ the Castle” events is that God speaks to his church today through faithful exposition of the Bible.
