Thank you for registering for Winter@The Castle 2019
Dear @TheCastle attendees,
The long-awaited young adults’ weekend will be soon upon us, Winter@The Castle 2019. Get excited! One of the only weekends out there for young people in their 20’s and 30’s, and a great place to meet new people, praise God together and hear some great talks from Tim Chester on Exodus. Could you possibly spend your weekend in any better way?!
A Few things:
If, having booked, your circumstances change you need to email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
You can email up until 8pm on Monday 25th November 2019. We act on trust and so we have booked you in for every meal you have asked for (and paid for them too!), so if you don't turn up or leave halfway through, then food and money are wasted and we will glare at you and tut a lot!
*People who are signed up as just coming to talks please let us know if you are planning on eating with us or leaving to eat elsewhere; if you haven’t signed up for food there is no food made for you, simples!
**Travel: If you need a lift from wherever you are, a good place to organise lifts is on the facebook page https://www.facebook.com/groups/9793751367/?fref=ts
***Security: Your money and possessions are your own responsibility, and we cannot be held responsible for them. The Castle is a safe place (and the staff are fully trustworthy). Sadly, however, we have had the odd (sinister) occasion where some money has been taken out of wallets which were left in rooms. So please keep your money on you at all times.
****We only accept STERLING for payment for the weekend. Please try to bring correct change. If you bring Euros or anything else we will keep it for our summer holidays! Ta!
Essentials for weekend enjoyment:
your toothbrush (and paste); more importantly, don't forget your Bible (and a notebook and pen).
to leave in good time to arrive at the Castle for 6:30-7:00 pm registration. The first session starts 7:30pm BANG ON!
to bring the necessary bedding - duvets, pillows and linen are provided but some people like to bring their own sleeping bag/duvet, pillowcases, and linen.
there will be hundreds of books at great prices by a wide range of authors, with some great reads for over the Summer Holidays. Cash and card will be accepted for the bookstall.
Some suggestions before you come:
Thank the Lord that you have been ransomed with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without blemish or spot.
Looking forward to seeing you all there!
